Pamela S. Gallion, Director
Ms. Pamela Gallion, has over 15 years experience conducting research on a variety of topical areas. She has developed the research methodology and data collection instruments for such organizations as the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE), Clark County School District, State of Nevada Department of Employment Training and Rehabilitation, State of Nevada Division for Aging Services, State of Nevada Agency for Nuclear Projects/Nuclear Waste Office, State of Nevada Task Forcer Fund for a Healthy Nevada, Nevada Highway Patrol, Clark County Regional Flood District, and many others. In addition she has served as a peer reviewer for instrument design for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Commercial clients have included Scientific Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where she assisted with the survey projects to determine a standard that would protect public health from adverse effects of releases from the proposed Yucca Mt. repository for low level nuclear waste. She has worked for CBS Television and Viacom, where she helped developed focus group moderation methodology that is currently being used at the Television City research center in Las Vegas. As a member of UNLV’s professional faculty, Ms. Gallion has been a member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the past 4 years and is a member of the Status of Women at the University Committee, a member of the University Commencement Committee, and is an active member with the University Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi.
Ms. Gallion holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Masters degree in Education.

Taylor Moseley, Supervisor
Taylor Moseley earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Mr. Moseley began his employment at the Cannon Center as an undergraduate student worker and has been part of the Cannon Survey Center for five years; he is currently employed as a member of UNLV professional staff as the Supervisor of Data Collection. Mr. Moseley has worked on such projects as Clark County School District Survey, The Challenging College Alcohol Abuse-Survey, Nevada Senior Portrait, and Nevada Highway Patrol Survey. Mr. Moseley also prepared a presentation of Nevada’s Pre-retiree Uninsured for The Nevada Public Health Association’s 2006 Conference. He oversees paper and phone surveys ensuring that the date collection process is unbiased and scientific rigor is maintained.
