 Task Force for the Fund for a Healthy Nevada: Portrait of Nevada's Seniors Survey
Surveys were completed with more than 5000 Nevadans over the age of 50 to provide empirical data on the growing senior population.  Basic demographic, income, housing, transportation, physical health, mental health, health insurance coverage, work/retiree status, crime victimization, and social well being are among the topical area covered.  View Report (PDF)

Clark County Regional Flood Control District
This is an annual assessment of residents of Clark County to find out their awareness of flooding and flash flooding that can occur in the desert.  This annual survey is conducted in October with 700 respondents.  RDD methodology is used.  The survey is conducted in both English and Spanish.

 Girl Scouts of the Frontier Council
The CSC assisted the Girl Scouts with long range property planning for specific hard to reach populations which included potential volunteers under the age of 29 and potential service users in under represented populations.

 Nevada Division for Aging Services – Senior Citizens Survey
The DAS collected surveys with over 1800 seniors assessing a variety of topical issues.  The CSC compiled and analyzed the data.

 Nevada Cancer Institute
Evaluation of Clark County residents thoughts, perceptions and views on cancer trials, both cancer treatment trials and cancer prevention trials. This research is a project shared by the faculty of UNLV School of Nursing and Nevada Cancer Institute.

 Paragon Consulting in Oregon
The CSC is currently working on several energy related projects with Paragon both in Nevada and Seattle, Washington.  The projects include energy monitoring and customer feedback of various home energy display devices (HEDs) and swimming pool pump energy efficiency.

 NV Energy Home Energy Display
The Home Energy Display Project expands the use in Nevada of a new type of household energy management technology. Home energy displays (HEDs) are devices which provide consumers with real-time information about energy usage, pricing, and costs. The CSC assisted with product placement and customer follow-up to assess the efficacy of several types of HEDs.

 Crime Victimization Survey
The CSC is working with UNLV’s Center for the Analysis of Crime Statistics (CACS) to collect crime victimization data on 5000 Nevadans.
